Stefano Guidotti,
born in 1969, is Head of the Business Finance area of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro.
After a diploma in accounting and commercial expert, he graduated with a thesis in banking law entitled: "The remote placement of financial instruments" from the Faculty of Law of the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna.
In 1991 he was employed in the Accounting Office of the Bolognese branch of Credito Romagnolo. 
From 1992 to 1996 he was an extraordinary collaborator at the branches of the Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna of Porretta Terme, Casalecchio di Reno, Castiglione dei Pepoli, San Giuseppe (BO) and Castelfranco Emilia. 
Since 2000 he is registered in the Single National Register of Financial Advisors.
In 2001 he was procurer in the real estate financing sector in the BHW agency of Bologna and financial promoter at Banca 121.
In 2002 he worked as a back officer at the Banca Intesa BCI service centre in Parma.
In 2002 he joined API, the Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Bologna, and until 2012 he joined the Head of the Credit and Finance service of what became Unindustria Bologna in 2007. 
From 2012 to 2013 he was Head of the Credit and Finance service of Unindustria Bologna and was involved in business consultancy.  
From 2013, until the birth of Confindustria Emilia, he was Head of the Business Finance area of Unindustria Bologna.
Between 2004 and 2015 he took part in numerous masters and specialist courses, including: the master "Small business financial management", organised by Credito Cooperativo Bolognese in collaboration with R&A Consulting; the specialist course "From swaps to structured products: theoretical foundations and operational cases", organised by AIAF - Italian Association of Financial Analysts; the master "Corporate finance. From the final analysis of the company's economic and financial data to the preparation of the multi-year financial plan", organised by Euroconference; the specialized course "Tools for covering the company's financial needs", organised by Euroconference and the master "Expert in financing projects and European funds" of the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna.
He also carries out teaching activities at the Bologna Business School, SPISA - School of Specialization in Public Administration Studies of the University of Bologna, Aldini Valeriani Foundation.
