Tiziana Ferrari was born in Bologna on 9th October 1973, married with a son. She graduated with honours in Economics and Commerce from the University of Bologna. She began her career in Arthur Andersen in 1997 as an auditor, working mainly in the Emilian area on medium and large enterprises and then collaborating from 2000 with transaction support services. In Ernst and Young since 2002, as a manager, she dedicates her efforts to business consultancy. In 2005 she joined Confindustria in the Bologna area. Initially responsible for planning, in 2006 she followed the merger with API for Confindustria Bologna, alongside the entrepreneurs, who were directly involved. Since 2007 in Unindustria Bologna, she has covered the role of Head of investments. In September 2011 she was appointed General Manager of the Association. From 2015 she followed the merger project for Unindustria Bologna with the territorial associations of Modena and Ferrara, arriving at the creation in May 2017 of Confindustria Emilia, the second association of Confindustria for number of companies represented. On 25th May 2017, the Executive Board appointed her as General Manager of Confindustria Emilia with effect from 1st July 2017.
