Sonia Bonfiglioli, Chair of the Board of Directors of Bonfiglioli Riduttori Spa
Married with two children, she holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA from Profingest (now BBS), and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at IESE. Since 2010, she has served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Bonfiglioli Riduttori Spa, a global leader in industrial automation that designs, manufactures, and distributes a complete portfolio of gearmotors, electric motors, planetary gearboxes, inverters, and PCBA. Founded in Bologna in 1956 by her father, Clementino Bonfiglioli, today the Bonfiglioli Group operates in over 80 countries across five continents, with 23 subsidiaries, 18 production facilities, and more than 4,700 employees worldwide.
In 2015, Sonia Bonfiglioli was awarded the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro and in 2018 she was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
In April 2019, she was appointed Vice President of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro.
On May 16, 2025, she became President of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro for the 2025–2029 term.
Andrea Pizzardi, Chief Executive Officer of Iperwood Srl
Born in 1979, he began his professional career at a young age in his father’s company, which specialized in the construction of marinas and floating docks. During this time, he earned a degree in Economics of Public Administrations and International Institutions, with a specialization in Business and Financial Markets, while continuing to work in the family business, where he became Head of Administration and Finance. In 2007, following the entry of Invitalia and Cassa di Risparmio di Cento, he joined the Board of Directors. In 2010, he chose to fully dedicate himself to a new entrepreneurial project, launching the commercial and industrial development of Novowood, an innovative and sustainable cladding material. In 2011, he became CEO of Iperwood Srl, which today is a market leader in its sector.
Since June 1, 2022, he has served as President of the Small Industry division of Confindustria Emilia and as a member of the Association’s Presidential Council for the 2022–2026 term.
Since June 14, 2024, he has also been President of the Small Industry Committee of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna for the 2024–2028 term.
On May 16, 2025, he was appointed Vice President of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro for the 2025–2029 term.
Fabio Tarozzi, Chief Executive Officer of Gruppo B&T
Born in 1965 in Formigine (Modena), he is Vice President of Federmeccanica. As Chief Executive Officer of Gruppo B&T, an international company specializing in turnkey plants for the ceramic and engineered quartz industry, he leads an organization operating in over 12 countries with 24 companies worldwide, employing 800 people and generating revenues of up to €230 million. After earning a degree in Economics and Business at the University of Modena, he joined the Barbieri & Tarozzi Group in 1993, where he developed the global sales network and contributed to the strategic integration with the Nassetti Group and Siti S.p.A. (Novara). Appointed General Manager in 2003 and Chief Executive Officer in 2007, he has driven international expansion and industrial consolidation, also taking on the presidency of Projecta Engineering, Foshan SITI B&T in China, and Ancora S.p.A. as early as 2015.
He also served as President of the Italian Ceramic Machinery Manufacturers’ Association from 2012.
On May 16, 2025, he was appointed Vice President of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro for the 2025–2029 term.
