Nicola Montanari

Nimax Spa

Nicola Montanari, born in Bologna in 1969, is the  President and CEO of Nimax.
With a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, he worked at SAMP from 1997 to 1999 and at SAMP USA from 1999 to 2001, when he became General Manager of Dimac Srl (Cefla Group). Since 2002, he has been with Nimax, where he was Unit Manager until 2009 when he was appointed Managing Director. Since 2019, he has been President and CEO.
He was a member of the board of directors in Unindustria Bologna (from 2010 to 2019), president of the Instrument Mechanics - Metalworking sector (from 2014 to 2017) and vice-president of the Instrument Mechanics - Metalworking sector (2010-2014). From 2008 to 2011, he was head of association marketing in the national commission for internal relations in the National Group of Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria and member of the board of directors of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Unindustria Bologna.
From 1st June 2022 he is Chairman of the Electronics and Mechatronics supply chain of Confindustria Emilia for the four-year period 2022-2026.

Gianmatteo Barbieri

Calzoni Srl

Gianmatteo Barbieri, born in San Giovanni in Persiceto (BO) in 1971, is General Manager, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Calzoni S.r.l - L3 Harris Group.
Graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, he joined Calzoni in 2002 as Product Team Manager, after some experience as Project Engineer. In the company, he held the roles of Business Unit Manager, Manager of the MagaYacht Team, Manager of the Marine Handling System and General Manager (since February 2013), among others. He has been Managing Director since April 2013.
President of the Esperienza Energia Consortium since 2017, he is also a member of the BoD of CRIT and A-CRIT.
From 1st June 2022 he is joint Managing Director of the Electronics and Mechatronics supply chain of Confindustria Emilia for the four-year period 2022-2026.

Francesco Possati

Marposs Spa

Francesco Possati is a member of the Board of Directors of Marposs S.p.A and General Manager of Tecna Srl, a company of the Marposs Group that manufactures equipment to check the tightness of biomedical components.
He attended Luigi Bocconi University where he graduated with a Master's degree in Law in 2011. From 2011 to the end of 2013, he worked at two different law firms in Hong Kong and Beijing. Both firms provide legal assistance to European (mainly Italian) clients in their commercial agreements and investment projects in Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China. 
In 2013, he joined the Marposs Group, moving to Nanjing for a year and a half, where he was in charge of improving the production processes of the Chinese headquarters as Quality Assurance Specialist. In 2014, he returned to the Group's headquarters in Bentivoglio, in the province of Bologna. For two years, he worked as HR assistant, dealing with personnel search and selection and relations with local universities and colleges. From 2016 to 2020, he worked in the manual measurement division where he developed, managed and supported the foreign offices for a product line and developed a network of new sales channels. 
From 1st June 2022 he is joint Managing Director of the Electronics and Mechatronics supply chain of Confindustria Emilia for the four-year period 2022-2026.

Giovanni Tamburini

Kemet Electronics Italia Srl

Giovanni Tamburini, born in Bologna in 1971, is Managing Director of Kemet Electronics Italia.
Graduated in Law at the University of Bologna, he worked in the Human Resources Management of BRT-Bartolini Spa from 2001 to 2005, after gaining some experience on the matter. In 2006-2007, he was HR Director of Bentini, in Faenza and, from 2007 to 2010, he was Group HR Director of the Busi Group in Bologna. Since 2010, he has been Vice President Human Resources EMEA & Global Facilities EHS of Kemet Electronics Italia. In 2018, he became Managing Director of its Italian legal entity located in Sasso Marconi (BO) where the headquarters of Kemet Corporation in Europe is also located. Since 2017, he has been in charge of Global Facilities, Environmental, Health and Safety (F&EHS). A member of the board of directors of Confindustria Servizi Emilia since 2018, he has been a general councillor of Federmeccanica since 2018 and vice-president of AIDP since 2017. He was a member of the board of directors of Unindustria Bologna from 2014 to 2017.
From 1st June 2022 he is joint Managing Director of the Electronics and Mechatronics supply chain of Confindustria Emilia for the four-year period 2022-2026.

Valentina Volta

Datalogic Spa

Valentina Volta, born in Bologna in 1978, is the CEO of Datalogic
She graduated with honours in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna, and completed the Master's "Owner President Management Program" at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA. In 2018, she also successfully attended the Master's "Executive Program for Women Enterpreneurs" at the Graduate Business School in Stanford, USA. 
Managing Director of Datalogic since 2017, she is also Chairman of Datalogic S.r.l., Datalogic IP Tech S.r.l., Datasensing S.r.l. and a member of the General Council of Confindustria. 
She was also a member of the Board of Directors of IMA S.p.A. from 2015 to 2020. 
Before joining Datalogic, she worked for Mediobanca as Credit Analyst and in the Ferrero Group for over 10 years, holding various managerial roles in sales and marketing, including the position of Country Marketing Manager for Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg based in Brussels.
From 1st June 2022 she is joint Managing Director of the Electronics and Mechatronics supply chain of Confindustria Emilia for the four-year period 2022-2026.
