Piquadro chooses Ratti for its textile accessories

27/05/2020

Piquadro, the Bolognese company of tech-design leather goods for business travellers, and Ratti, the historical Como-based company of fine fabrics owned by the gruppo Marzotto, announce the signing of a partnership agreement, which envisages the creation and marketing worldwide of printed, yarn-dyed and knitted accessories.
Always looking for new aesthetic languages to turn to a constantly evolving market in a functional and modern way, Piquadro and Ratti will propose a new line of scarves that combines the values of the Piquadro brand with Ratti's textile expertise, with the aim to propose a new and original interpretation of the world of accessories by combining the essential style of the Bolognese brand with the three-dimensional textures of the Como-based company.

Pierpaolo Palmieri, Piquadro sales manager, declares: "With great satisfaction we announce the agreement with Ratti for the creation of Piquadro brand scarves. We share a love of quality and research with the historical Como-based company and we are confident that it will be able to perfectly interpret the spirit and style of our brand".

The agreement just signed with Piquadro - says Elisabetta Curioni, director of BU Ratti Studio - more than a partnership is the consolidation of a natural harmony between two companies, which have always considered excellence and product quality at the basis of their mission, each one in its own sector of competence". The new collection, which is a combination of attention to detail and stylistic innovation, re-elaborates the archetypes of the classical taste of accessories with a contemporary note, for a series of scarves characterised by an exclusive hand-crafted savoir-faire, giving them a new pace and contemporary appeal.
The new accessories will be available starting from next autumn/winter 2020 in all single-brand stores in the world as well as in the wholesale distribution network.
